Bart Casey

Solid in Sandpoint roots and caring service.  When your needs arise, you can feel comfort in dealing with Bart and Anne Marie Casey.  Both graduated from SHS in 1990---Bart, from Salmon High School and Anne Marie, from Sandpoint High School.

Both graduated from the University of Idaho in 1995, where they met and later married.  Bart also received an additional mortuary science degree from Mt. Hood Community College as well as the "Helping Hand Award" for his exemplary qualities of reaching out and helping others.

Professional ethics and dedication to community come naturally for this young couple, thanks to their own family roots.  Bart represents the third generation of his family to work as a funeral director.  Anne Marie's parents are Jack and Shirley Parker.  The Parker family has sold automobiles in Sandpoint since the 1920's.

As a native of Salmon, Bart brings to Sandpoint a lifetime of association and experience in the funeral service industry.  His father and grandfather worked as funeral directors for a combined 60 years.  They each served as Lemhi County coroner, with 41 years experience between them.  Before coming to Sandpoint, Bart managed Jones & Casey Funeral Home.

Bart and Anne Marie are committed to Sandpoint as the place where they will rear their family (son Brandon and daughter Sarah).  They will also continue to serve their community through their business and their active involvement in civic organizations like the Elks and PEO. The Casey's are members of the First Presbyterian Church.

As proprietors of Lakeview Funeral Home, Bart and Anne Marie pledge honesty, compassion and professionalism just as their parents and grandparents have demonstrated for decades before them.
